284 Transition. Group of Thom 5-line 2d overprints on piece, each cancelled by cds of Irish Free State offices with name of Northern Ireland office at foot. Includes BALLINAMORE/STRABANE, BUNDORAN/LONDONDERRY, STRANORLAR/ENNISKILLEN, GLENEELY/LONDONDERRY, WELCHTOWN/STRABANE, DRIMFRIES/LONDONDERRY and two incomplete. Used temporarily in 1922 while new Free State cancellers were being prepared. Mainly fine. (9)
